In
1994 Motorola introduced
their International 3000
series with the 3200.
The more expensive 3300 was
the top of the
range. These
rare phones STILL WORK
TODAY with a modern
small sim card. We offer them to
you at a far less
ludicrous price than the
original £1800.
The
rarest of the Motorola
3000 series was the
3300. This had similar
properties to the 3200
but with one new feature
- the addition of a new
fangled concept for
sending short messages
in text form. Wooo.
This
was the first and ONLY
large format phone which
was available
with text messaging.
Ooooh! Predictive text?
No Easy user interface?
No. T9 Dictionary and
shortcuts? Fat chance...
Manual input of text.
Mmm lovely.
There
were far fewer 3300 sold
and as a result
they are are really
sought after and are
worth up to twice the
price of the 3200.
These are very highly valued by
collectors. Not only was
it the last of the
familiar brick phone
format it was the only
large format brick phone
that still can be used
with SMS.

Apologies, but this
model is currently out

These vintage Motorola
phones are limited for
everyday use due to
incompatibility with
some modern simcards and
poor battery
performance. Boo.
However, if you want a
huge retro phone like
this, but with modern
functionality which you
can use everyday, you
can find one
